BEGINNER JIU JITSU/ SELF DEFENSE COURSE
7 different areas that we focus on that will give you a good understanding of what jiu jitsu is about.

Beginner Day 1
Short intro, Backwards breakfall, Forward/ backward rolls, Shrimping, Technical standup, Bridging, 4 basic positions, Mount escape ( basic elbow escape, elbow escape with foot hook variation), how to hold mount (scoop their face, cross face hold).

Beginner Day 2
Basic Keylock/ Americana with cross arm, Twisted arm control, S mount to back take, RNC with 1 hand, RNC with 2 hands

Beginner Day 3
Escaping/ passing from standing, Escaping / passing from knees, Passing to side control, Passing to Mount, Dummy sweep, Counter to Dummy sweep

Beginner Day 4
+1, 0, -1 to Mount

Beginner Day 5
Proactive against side control, Wrestle up to knees, Back take, they Wizzar, Grabbing far knee and foot and running behind them, they post their foot and push into you, drop underneath them and roll them over.

Beginner Day 6
Half Guard bottom, Stone Squirrel, Fight for the armpit, Back take, Half Guard top, Wizzar, Shoulder shuck partner back to the ground and regain armpit, Keylock/ Americana from half guard top (basic and head hug variation)

Turtle position, Take the back when they turtle, Triangle choke from closed guard, Armbar from closed guard, Armbar from mount
